John was a cabinet maker.3 11 June 1880, Betsy was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Berkshire. Enumerated in this household were Lucious M. Bennett [49 New York], Mary A. [41 New York]. Jennie S. [11 New York] Fred R. [7 New York], Boarder: John Torrey [85 Rhode Island] & Bestsy Torrey [75 New York].
