Rebecca Templin1

     Rebecca was born on Monday, 18 March 1765 in Frederick Town, Frederick County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Samuel Templin and Hannah Jones. Rebecca married Richard Ridgely, son of Westall Ridgely and Sarah Isaac, on 24 September 1782 in Frederick County. Richard and Rebecca had children: Sarah [7/16/1783], Anna [6/14/1786], Rebeccah, Samuel [5/30/1790] & Joshua [6/24/1793]. The 1800 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Traptown, Frederick County, Maryland, the family of Rebecca Ridgly [11100:11110].2 The 1810 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Traptown, Frederick County, Maryland, the family of R. Ridgley [00200:01001].3 Rebecca departed this life on Thursday, 11 July 1811 in Traptown, Frederick County, Maryland.
