Augustin Sylvestre dit Beausoliel

     Augustin was born on Monday, 7 August 1775 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Simon Sylvestre dit Beausoliel & Marguirite Baillargon. Augustin married Marie-Judith-Julie Goulet on 25 January 1802 in Ste-Elisabeth, Joliette County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Elizabeth Church. Augustin & Julie had children: Augustin [6/05/1806][m. 1827 Adelaide Belland] and possibly others.^1,2 Augustin's wife, Marie-Judith-Julie, died before 2 October 1809 in Ste-Elisabeth leaving him a widower. Augustin married 2nd Barbe Morisson on 2 October 1809 in Ste-Elisabeth at Ste-Elizabeth Church. 2nd on 10/02/1809 Barbe Morisson & 3rd on 4/22/1816 Marie Josepne Robillard.³ Augustin's wife, Barbe, died before 22 April 1816 in Ste-Elisabeth leaving him a widower. Augustin married 3rd Marie-Josephte Robillard dit Lambert, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Robillard dit Lambert and Marie-Agathe Coucis dit Lafleur, on 22 April 1816 in Ste-Elisabeth at Ste-Elizabeth Church.⁴ 1851, Augustin and his wife, Marie-Josephte, were listed on the Canadian Census at St-Gabriel-de-Brandon, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Augustin Beausoliel [82 St-Elizabeth], Josephte Lambert [60 St-Elizabeth], Louis [33 St-Gabriel-en-Branden], Elise Beaugrand [24 Berthier], Louis [4 St-Gabriel-en-Branden], Aurelia [3 St-Gabriel-en-Branden], Oleiror [1 St-Gabriel-en-Branden], Joseph [27 St-Gabriel-en-Branden][farmer], Julie Lelande [23 St-Gabriel-en-Branden][Domestic], Alexandreia [2 St-Gabriel-en-Branden], Visitors: Edward [20 St-Gabriel-en-Branden] & Norbert [18 St-Gabriel-en-Branden].
