Theodore Sureau

Theodore was born circa 1627 in Maillezais, Vendee, Pays de la Loire, France. Theodore married Francoise Brunet on 8 November 1663 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 1667, Theodore and Francoise were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte-de-Levis, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Theodore Sureau [40 years], Francoise Brunette [32 years], Jeanne Durand [12 years], Francoise Durand [10 years], Genevieve Sureau [2 years].2 Theodore's wife, Francoise, died on 20 July 1668 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Theodore married second Perrine Hutru on 9 Oct 1669. Theodore departed this life circa 5 October 1677 in Cote de Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried at ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, in the Notre Dame Cemetery.3
