Sophronia was born circa 1799 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. Sophronia married Aaron Jacobs before 1820 in New York. Aaron and Sophronia had children: daughter [ca. 1819], daughter [ca. 1822], daughter [ca. 1824], son [ca. 1826], son [ca. 1828] John [1831], Reuben [1834]. Sophronia departed this life between 1834 and 1840 in Owego, Tioga County, New York. She gave birth to a son in 1834 and did not appear on the 1840 census.
