     Almira was born on Friday, 25 December 1801 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. Almira married Obadiah Lamb Livermore on 4 April 1822 in Richford, Tioga County, New York. Obadiah & Almira had children: William [1/28/1823-7/14/1909], John, Obadiah, Charles Fernando [-3/30/1914] [m, 9/26/1876 Carrie Russell], Mary Almira [11/__/1837-7/09/1911] [m. Warren L. King] & Sarah Maria [1838-8/20/1924] [m. Austin Newell Hungerford]. 7 August 1850, Almira and her husband, Obadiah, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. Enumerated in this household were Obadiah L. Livermore [54 Massachusetts], Almira [47 New York], Charles F. [19 New York], Mary A. [16 New York], Sarah M. [13 New York]. The censes includes those who are registered at the hotel. They own a hotel; Charles is a barkeeper.1 Almira's husband, Obadiah, died on 22 May 1858 in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, leaving her a widow. 5 July 1860, the U.S. Federal Census listed Almira living in the home of her son at Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. Enumerated in this household were Charles F. Livermore [28 New York], Mary [24 New York], Sarah [22 C+New York] & Almira [57 Connecticut] & those registered at the hotel. Charles is listed as a land lord. They have real estate valued at $2500 and personal estate valued at $300.2 Almira made her will on 27 June 1881.

In the name of God Amen. I Almira S. Livermore of the village of Ithaca Tompkins County NY being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of the frail and transitory life, do, therefore, make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last WILL AND TESTAMENT, that is to say: First – After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my son Wiliam S. Livermore of Unadilla Michigan the note of $900 which I hold against him. The rest & residue of my estate real and personal of whatsoever kind of wheresoever situated except my household furniture clothing jewelry & personal ornaments I give and bequeath to my four children Obadiah Livermore of California Charles F. Livermore, Mary A L King & Sarah M. Hungerford of Ithaca share and share alike. The personal property above excepted from this bequeath I Direct ___________ ______ my executor to distribute among my heirs as he shall see fit. I direct the interest on my bonds & mortgages & investments to be withheld & not divided by my executor until it shall come to $200,000 that sum & then I direct my executor to spend in erecting a Family Monument. Likewise, I make, consititute and appoint my son Charles F Livermore to be executor of this my last WILL AND TESTAMENT hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Almira departed this life on Thursday, 21 January 1892 in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, at the home of Charles F. Livermore. Obituary: DEATH OF A NONAGENARIAN0 - At 7 o’clock this morning occurred the death of Mrs. Almira S. Livermore, who had been suffering with pneumonia for a week or two, and whose condition was thought to be improving until within a day or so preceding her death. The deceased was one of the oldest persons in this community, having celebrated the 90th anniversary of her birth last Christmas. She was the mother of Mr. Charles F. Livermore at whose residence, No. 80 West State street, her death occurred. Her other surviving children are, Mrs. A.N. Hungerford, Sansalito, Cal., William S. Livermore, Unadilla, Mich., and Mrs. Mary A. King, of this city. She was buried at Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, in Ithaca City Cemetery.3 Her will was probated on 22 February 1892.
