Esther Stanley

     Esther was born on Tuesday, 2 February 1717 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was the daughter Nathaniel Stanley and Sarah Smith.¹ Esther married John North, son of Nathaniel North and Margaret Holcomb, on 21 February 1739 in Hartford County, Connecticut. John & Esther had children: Esther [3/17/1739][m. 11/11/1758 Isaac Humphrey], Abijah [10/02/1741-11/29/1741], Abijah [10/19/1743-5/03/1785], Sarah [9/30/1745-8/06/1832][m. 9/30/1774 David Smith], John [1/04/1748-7/10/1799], Elizabeth [1/01/1750-11/19/1770], Seth [10/02/1752], Stephen [4/26/1754], Gad [10/10/1756-9/09/1807] & Simeon [2/28/1758]. Esther departed this life on Monday, 19 November 1770 in Goshen at age 53 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was buried there in the Goshen West Side Cemetery.
