On 25 March 1697, her father left her ten pounds & one good feather bed with furniture belonging to her when she turns 18 years old or at the time of her marriage. On 24 January 1708/1709, her mother made Sarah her executrix and left her all her estate within doors and without, paying all her lawful debts and legasies. Sarah was not yet married at this time. Sarah married John Tibbetts on 20 February 1726. She sold, for 12 pounds, to her brother, Nathaniel, her interest in the eighth part of a whole share in the Dartmouth lands given to her by her father. They went with some other relatives to South Carolina about 1730. Sarah's husband, John, died in South Carolina, leaving her a widow. After his death Sarah came back to Massachusetts [Dartmouth or Duxbury] where she was assigned by the will of her brother, John Soule, chamber in his home.
