George was born circa 1600 in England. In November of 1620, "George Sould", with other Pilgrims, signed "The Compact". In 1620, George left his home in England, as a servant of Edward Winslow, aboard the "Mayflower", bound for New England. They arrived at Plymouth on the 11th of November.. He was taxed in 1633 & in 1634, he was independent of Edward Winslow. He had removed to Duxbury before 1643.
He was representative 1645.
Some years later; He was an original proprietor of Bridgewater, as in 1652, he had been among the purchasers of Dartmouth.

George's wife, Mary, died in 1677 in the family home in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower. George made his will on 11 August 1677.
"I George Soule senior of Duxbury in the Colonie of New Plymouth in New England, being aged and weak of body but of sound mind and memory, praised be God. Do make this my last will and testament, in manner and form following:
Inpromis I committ my soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it; and my body to be decently buried in the place appointed for that use whensoever bee shall please to take mee hence; and for the Disposal of my outward estate which God of his Goodness hath Given mee. first I have and already former by Deeds under my hand and seale Given unto my two sonnes Nathaniel and George, all of my lands in the Township of Dartmouth. Item: I
have formerly Given unto my Daughters Elizabeth and Patience all of my lands in the Township of Middleberry. Item: I give and bequeth unto my daughters Susanna and Mary twelve pence a piece to be paid by my executor hereinafter named, after my decease; and forasmuch as my eldest son John Soule and his family bath in my extreme old age and weakness bin very and
careful of mee and very helpful to me and is likely so to bee while it shall please God to continue my life beer, therefore I give and bequeath unto my said son John Soule all the Remainder of housing and lands, whatsoever, to him his heirs and asigns forever. Item: I give and beequeath unto my son John Soule all of my Goods and Chattels whatsoever.
Item: I nominate and appoint my son John Soule to be my sole executor of this my last will and Testament and lastly I do make null and voyd all other and former wills and Testaments by mee att any time made. In witness whereof I the said George Soule have hereunto sett my hand and seale this eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand six hundred seventy and seven.

He wrote a codicil to his will on 27 September 1677.
The twenty seventh Day of September 1677
I the abovenamed George Soule Doe hereby further declare that it is my will that if my son John Soule above named or his heirs or assigns or any of them at any time Disturb my Daughter Patience or her heirs or assigns or any of them in peacable possession or enjoyment of lands I have given her at Namassakett and recover the same from her or her heirs or assigns or any of them That my Gift to my son John Soule shall be void; and that then my will is, my Daughter Patience shall have all my lands in Duxbury, and she shall be my sole executrix of this my last will and Testament and enter into my housin, lands and meddows att Duxburrow.

It was exhibited to the court the 5th of March 1680. It was valued at £4,019.4
