Rachel Smith

Rachel was born in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of John Smith of Boson, a tailor. Rachel married Robert Woodward, son of Nathaniel Woodward and Margaret Lawrence, in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1 Robert and Rachel had children: Joseph [10/24/1641-d. y.], Nathaniel [10/26/1642-b 1/26/1676] [m. 1685 Mary], Smith [8/04/1644], Robert [11/14/1646-1675], Mercy [11/05/1648] [m. Samuel East], Thomas [4/02/1650-d.y.], John [12/04/1651-8/23/1652] & Jeremiah [8/28/1653-11/26/1653]. Rachel's husband, Robert, died on 29 November 1653 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow.2 On 7 July 1654, she married second Thomas Har___ od Boston. Rachel departed this life in 1695 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
