Anna Smith

     Anna was born in 1750 in Orange County, New York. Anna married Inman Walling, son of James Walling II and Susannah Inman, circa 1770 in Orange County, New York. Inman & Anna had children: James [2/04/1772-2/13/1824] [m. Bethia Wickham], Joseph [1774-1810], Phebe [1776-] [m. Seth Wickham], Oliver Smith [1779- ] [m. Martha Mather], Mary (Polly) [1781-1804] [m. Jacobus Rosencranse], Inman [1784- ] & Gabriel [1788-1857]. Anna's husband, Inman, died before 1 June 1802 in Minisink Town, Orange County, New York, leaving her a widow. Anna was still living when her son, James mentioned her in his will which he wrote on 8 February 1822 refering to her as Amy. She was living with her son Gabriel at the time.
