Alice Skinner

     Alice was born circa 1634 in Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of Aquila Skinner and Alice Cornish, daughter of James Cornish, granddaughter of George Cornish [1549-1608] and Mary Lawrence. Alice immigrated to Maryland in 1671 accompanied by a relative, Mary Skinner. [She was a second cousin once removed to Rachel Beard, wife of Nealel Clarke] Alice married 2nd Henry Ridgely, son of Henry Ridgely, in 1672 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Henry and Alice had children: Charles [1676-1722][m. 8/25/1698 Elizabeth Read] & Catherine [before 1678][m. 1/19/1695 William Howerton]. Alice departed this life circa 1694 in Anne Arundel County.
