In the yere of our lord god ml vc xxvth and upon the xxith day of September in the xvii yere of the Reighne of our soueraigne lorde Kinge Henry the viiith I William Sharp being hole in memory and seke in body do make this my last will and testament in manner and forume following. Ffirst I bequethe my soule unto almighty god, to our blessed lady saint Mary and to all the blessed company of hevyn, And my body to be buried in the parishe Churchyarde of Iseldon [the old name of Islington] efre the west dore by my first wife hir grave ….. Item I bequeath to Robert Sharp my sonne and to Elizabeth his wife in redy money lxvis viiid St ….. Item I bequeath to my sonne Robert ….. my best maser, my drinking horne foted and banded with silver and gilt …. And my best salt of silver. Item I berqueth to Agnes Sharp my daughter in fedy money the sum of vilb xiiis iiiid. Also I bequeath my tenement with the appurtenance in Canbury holde ….. to my wife Mary Sharp for terme of hir life, and after hir decesse ….. the said tenement shall Remayne to my forsaid daughter Agnes Sharp to hir heirs of hir body lawfully begotten …. To Mary Sharp my wife oon tenement ….. in the Prebend holde ….. for terme of hir life …. To Remayn to my sonne Robert Sharp and to his hieres ….To my said wife …… medowe graound ….. in Hybury for terme of hir life …. To Remayne to my sonne Robert Sharp …..
