Johannes was born in 1725 in Crissuelldorf, Rhineland, Prussia. Johannes married Anna Gertrudt (?) circa 1743. Johannes, arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Friendship", under Captain Charles Ross, from Amsterdam & Gosport on 21 October 1754. He came with his wife & at least four children. He signed the rooster with an "X". He settled in Lancaster.¹
