Henry del was born circa 1250 in Burgh-on-Sands [near Carlisle], County Cumberland, England. Henry del Sands killed Richard Freeman in Burg-on-Sands in the year 1272. He was imprisoned at Carlisle. He was pardoned & released in 1274.
