     Jean-Baptiste was born on Monday, 11 March 1715 in Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in St-Francois-de-Sales Church.1 Jean-Baptiste married Marie-Therese Phlem dit Yvon on 17 January 1746 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade, Champlain County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade Church.2 Jean Baptiste & Marie-Therese had children: Marie-Therese [12/02/1746-8/05/1747][twin], Marie-Joseph [12/02/1746-8/08/1747][twin], Jean-Baptiste [6/05/1748][m. 8/01/1774 Anne Henault dit Champagne], Louis Joseph [9/06/1750][m. 11/09/1776 Marie Marguerite Brochu] & Alexis [7/08/1752].3 Jean-Baptiste's wife, Marie-Therese, died on 18 July 1774 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Jean-Baptiste departed this life in Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Sunday, 14 September 1788.4
