John Rose

M, b. 1642, d. 27 December 1672
     John was born in 1642 in Southampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. John married Phebe Ives, daughter of William Ives and Hannah Dickerman, in August 1670 in New Haven.1,2 John and Phebe had children: Deborah [1671- ], Sarah [1673- ], Hannah [1676- ], John [1679- ] & Daniel [1683- ], all born in Branford, Connecticut.1 John departed this life on Tuesday, 27 December 1672 in North Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 30 years. He was buried there in the Congregational Church Burial Ground.3
