Elizabeth was born in London, County Middlesex, England. She was christened there on 20 May 1635 in St. Mary Magdalen, Milk Street.3 She moved from Virginia to Maryland with her mother and step-father, George Puddington, shortly before 17 March 1650 when her name appeared as Eliabeth Robins on her step-father's application for land. Elizabeth married William Burgess circa 1651 in Northampton County, Virginia.4 William and Elizabeth had children: Edward [1652-3/14/1723][m. 1/24/1686 Sarah Chew], George [1654-12/02/1704][m. 1683 Katherine Harding]., William [1656], Susanna [1658][ Major Nicholas Sewall]. Elizabeth departed this life circa 1658 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
