Marie-Catherine Rivard

     Marie-Catherine was born on Wednesday, 23 May 1685 in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Julien Rivard & Elisabeth Tune. She was christened there on 24 May 1685 in St-Francois-Xavier Church.1 Marie-Catherine married Pierre Gailloux, son of Pierre Gailloux and Marguerite Crete, on 13 January 1705 in Batiscan at St-Francois-Xavier Church.2 Pierre and Catherine had children: Pierre [7/__1705-10/091791][m. 2/03/1729 Marie Claire Hieoux] & Joseph [1/16/1707-11/12/1731].3 Marie-Catherine's husband, Pierre, died on 8 December 1706 in Batiscan leaving her a widow. Marie-Catherine departed this life after 3 February 1729. She was still living at the marriage of her son Pierre on this date.4
