Emma Revolt

Emma was born on Tuesday, 19 November 1872 in Suttons Bay, Leelanau County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Charles L. and Mary Revolt. She was first married on 2 November 1892 in Suttons Bay to Charles H King [11/01/1864-10/11/1933]. Emma married 2nd Floyd Parshall Howell, son of Parshall Howell Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Torrey, on 27 September 1940 in Webberville, Ingham County, Michigan, at Millville Parsonage. Emma's husband, Floyd, died on 17 January 1946 in Webberville leaving her a widow. Emma departed this life on Monday, 15 January 1951 in Webberville at age 78 years, 1 month and 27 days.1 She was buried there in the Webberville Cemetery. The inscription on her stone reads: KING - Emma M 1872 - 1951 -beside her inscription is her first husbands - Charles H 1864 - 1933.
