Ichabod Randall

     Ichabod was born on Wednesday, 21 October 1711 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut. He was christened there on 29 June 1712 in the First Congregational Church. Ichabod married Humility Greene on 30 September 1743 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island. Ichabod departed this life on Monday, 6 September 1762 in Havana, Cuba, at age 50 years, 10 months and 16 days. He died in battle during the 7 years war with Spain. The inventory of Ichabod's estate was taken on Wednesday, 19 October 1763. His estate was fully inventoried and returned to the Court of Probate in Connecticut where he still owned property. His will was probated on 25 April 1768. The Court of Probate, District of East Haddam was to make distribution for the estate of Mr. Ichabod Randal, Sr., deceased for land he had by Gift from his father to the following [11] : Charles Randal, deceased, son ; Benjamin Randal, son ; Green Randal, son ; Humility Rathbon, daughter ; John Randal, son ; Mrs. Anne Randal, wife and relict of son Ichabod Randall (Jr.) deceased.
