Rachael Prather1

F, b. circa 1706
     Rachael was born circa 1706 in Prince George's County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Thomas Prather and Martha Sprigg. Rachael married William Pottenger, son of John Pottenger and Mary Mill, circa 1725 in Prince George's County, Maryland. William and Rachel had children: Rachel [circa 1726] & William [circa1728]. Rachael's husband, William, died before 10 September 1728 in Prince George's County, Maryland, leaving her a widow. In the estate records of William Pottenger is a document dated 21 July 1732, which names Rachel Semmes as the Administrix describing her as relict now wife of Joseph Milton Semmes of Charles County.
