     Walter was born circa 1540. Walter married Joan Hollowaye on 24 May 1562 in Cholsey, Berkshire, England, at St. Mary's Church.2 Walter's wife, Joan, died before 1 June 1604 in Cholsey, leaving him a widower. Walter departed this life in Cholsey. He was buried there in St. Mary's Churchyard on Sunday, 14 October 1612.3
