Cornelius was born circa 1569 in Neiderhausen on the Nahe, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Between 1580 and 1584, Cornelius was a schoolmaster and deacon in Hornbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He was also employed as a schoolmaster at Obermoschel in 1591-92 and in 1592 was also at Keffenach as a schoolmaster and minister. In 1621, the family resided in Eimheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Cornelius departed this life after 1628 in Eimheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
