Enumerated in this household were Henry Sutton [33 Ohio], his wife: Sarah [29 Ohio], children: Michall L. [10 Ohio], E. Elizabeth [8 Ohio], & Ida J. [4 Ohio]. [5 Ohio], along with Henry Frye [26 Ohio], Henry is a butcher.⁴ 9 June 1900, Sarah and her husband, Henry, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Continental Village, Monroe Township, Putnam County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Henry Sutton [61 Ohio - May 1839], his wife: Sarah [59 Ohio - April 1841], children: Leonard [27 Ohio - November 1872] & Charles [17 Ohio - October 1882]. They had been married 40 years. She had eight children, six living.⁵ 23 April 1910, Sarah and her husband, Henry, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Continental Village, Monroe Township on Maple Street. They had been married 50 years with 8 children, 6 living.⁶ Sarah's husband, Henry, died on 6 December 1912 in Continental Village, Monroe Township leaving her a widow.⁷ Sarah departed this life on Thursday, 1 February 1917 in Riverside, Delaware County, Indiana, at 305 Queen Street at age 75 years and 10 months.⁸ She was buried at Leipesic Township in Sugar Ridge Cemetery.
