     Jean-Baptiste was born in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 12 February 1683 in St-Pierre Church.1 Jean-Baptiste married Marie Louise Dalcourt dit Guinard on 15 April 1706 in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.2 Jean-Baptiste & Louise had children Marie-Louise [1707][m. 2/__/1728 Jean Baudon], Jean Baptiste [8/27/1711-4/25/1733] & Joseph [3/13/1714-3/12/1791].3,4 Jean-Baptiste's wife, Marie, died before 31 October 1729, leaving him a widower. Jean-Baptiste married 2nd Marie-Anne Guibord on 31 October 1729 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Genevieve Church.5 Jean-Baptiste & Marie-Anne had atleast one child, Marguerite [ca 1730-9/13/1798][m. 10/18/1749 Michel-Charles Montmarquet]. Jean-Baptiste's wife, Marie-Anne, died on 7 December 1753 in Berthierville leaving him a widower. Jean-Baptiste departed this life on Thursday, 2 August 1759 in ville de Quebec at Hotel-Dieu. He was buried there in the cemetery of the Hotel-Dieu on Thursday, 2 August 1759.
