Joseph departed this life in 1758 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut. The personall inventory of Joseph's estate was taken on Tuesday, 6 November 1759 by Ephraim Preston and Daniel Ives. Items Joseph left in his will to his wife were valued at £35 11s.10d. Another inventory stated his personal property was valued at £34 15s. 8d. This was written in the same hand and style as an inventory was taken 12 December 1759 indicating that his real property was valued at £771 19s. 9d. Finally, on 26 February 1759/60 an inventory was taken adding together three values; £34 15s. 8d., £41 17s.11d, £17 6s 11d totalling £129 12s. 4d. This seems to be the final tally of his personal property.1
