     Joan "of the Tower" or "Make was born on Saturday, 5 July 1321 in London, County Middlesex, England. She was born in the Tower of London to Edward II of Englnad & Isabella of France. Joan "of the Tower" or "Make married David Bruce King of Scotland, son of Robert de Bruce King of Scotland and Elizabeth de Burgh, on 17 July 1328 in Berwick-On-Tweed, County Northumberland, England. The river Tweed separates the two countries Scotland & England. This marriage was designed to end the hostilities between the countries of England & Scotland. They were crowned & annointed as King & Queen of Scotland 24 November 1331. Joan departed this life on Tuesday, 7 September 1362 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. She was buried at London, County Middlesex, England, in the yard of the Grey Friar Church. She is buried near her mother. It is now called Christ Church.
