MotherMargaret (?)
Margaret was born in 1694 in Isle of Wight, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Margaret married Jacob Howell, son of Richard Howell I and Elizabeth (?), in December 1710 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.2 In several records, Margaret is indicated to have been the wife of Caleb Howell with the same marriage date. There does not appear to be a Caleb but with the fancy writing someone may have read Jacob as Caleb. Margaret married 2nd Richard Sweezy on 10 August 1739 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.3,4 Margaret departed this life on Thursday, 6 July 1769 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.5 She was buried at Mattituck in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
