Nathaniel married Margaret Holcomb, daughter of Nathaniel Holcomb and Mary Bliss, on 10 June 1708 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. Nathaniel departed this life on Saturday, 5 April 1777 in Northington [now Avon], Hartford County, Connecticut.
