Andre Archambault

     Andre was born in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the on of Laurent Archambault & Catherine Marchand. He was christened there on 27 September 1676 in the church of St-Enfant-Jesus.¹ Andre married Cecile Adhemar, daughter of Antoine Adhemar and Marie Sedilot, on 13 November 1702 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.² Andre & Cecile havd children: Marie [4/29/1704-5/21/1783][m. 2/16/1722 Jacques Chalifous], Marie Josephe [12/21/1705-1/04/1706], Cecile [1/29/1707-2/01/1707], Pierre [8/23/1708-6/24/1786][m. 6/20/1739 Marie Josephe Roy], Nicolas [5/20/1710-6/27/1710], Marie Jeanne [11/24/1711-2/24/1717], Andre [7/01/1713-7/05/1713], Andre Jacques [10/21/1714-12/20/1811][m. 2/08/1740 Marie Angelique Lorion], Cecile [3/18/1716-3/20/1716], Marie Louise [6/25/1717-8/14/1717], Veronique [9/25/1718-10/13/1718], Antoine [11/12/1719-2/12/1791][m. 1/11/1745 Marie JosepheBrouillet], Jean Eloi [3/12/1721-3/15/1721], Judith [10/12/1722], Marie Felicite [11/24/1725-12/17/1780][m. 7/08/1748 Mathurin Hirbour] & Amable Alexandre [4/24/1730-7/16/1730].³ Andre departed this life on Monday, 19 October 1750 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Enfant-Jesus.⁴
