John was born after 1615 in England. He was the son of Thomas Nash and Marjorie Baker. John married Elizabeth Tapp, daughter of Edmund Tapp II and Anna (?), circa 1645 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut.2 John & Margaret Elizabeth had children: Elizabeth [1/03/1646][m. 12/02/1676 Aaron Cook], Sarah [7/29/1649-5/27/1716][m. 2/08/1688/9 Thomas Yale], Mary [1/14/1652][m. 1/01/1679 Philip Payne] & Hannah [7/29/1655-2/03/1707/8][m. 2/13/1672 Eliphalet Ball & 2nd 4/02/1689 Thomas Trowbridge].3 John's wife, an unknown person , died on 1 May 1676 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower.4 John departed this life on Thursday, 3 July 1687 in New Haven County, Connecticut.2
