Miles Morgan

M, b. circa 1615, d. 28 May 1699
     Miles was born circa 1615.1 Miles married Elizabeth Bliss, daughter of Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins, on 15 February 1670 in Springfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.2 Miles & Elizabeth had one child, Nathaniel [6/14/1671-8/30/1752] [m. 1/19/1692 Hannah Bird]. Miles's wife, Elizabeth, died on 2 October 1683 in Springfield leaving him a widower. Miles departed this life on Thursday, 28 May 1699 in Springfield.3

Feb. 15, 1669-70, as the second wife of Sergeant Miles Morgan, [b. 1615 and d. May 28, 1699], who had eight children by a previous marriage. Elizabeth had only one child, named Nathaniel, b. June 14, 1671. She was thirty-two or three years of age at the time of her marriage, and had been engaged in marriage before, but her intended husband was killed by the Indians.
