Saron Beach Munson

Saron Beach was born in 1811 in New Jersey. Serring and Harriet had children: Caroline [1833], Charlotte [1840], Mary [1842] & James [1848]. Saron married Harriet Decker, daughter of James Decker and Sarah Norman, in 1832. 23 July 1850, Saron and his wife, Harriet, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Independence Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Serring [39 New Jersey], Harriet [36 New Jersey], Caroline [17 New Jersey], Charlotte [10 New Jersey], Mary [8 New Jersey] & James [2 Michigan].1 Saron's wife, Harriet, died in 1877 in Oakland County, Michigan, leaving him a widower. Saron departed this life on Wednesday, 23 March 1887 in Oakland County, Michigan, at age 76 years. He was buried at Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan, in the Oak Hill Cemetery.2
