Marie-Anne Montambault

F, b. 26 February 1755, d. 19 December 1839
     Marie-Anne was born on Wednesday, 26 February 1755 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Francois Montambault & Marguerite Morand Grimard. She was christened on the same day there in the church of St-Joseph.1 Marie-Anne married Joseph-Marie Meran, son of Louis Mayrand and Marie-Madeleine Brunette, on 22 July 1776 in Deschambault at the church of St-Joseph.2 Marie-Anne's husband, Joseph-Marie, died on 4 March 1816 in Grondines leaving her a widow. Marie-Anne departed this life on Thursday, 19 December 1839 in Grondines at age 84 years, 9 months and 23 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Charles-de-Roches on Friday, 20 December 1839.3
