Suzanne was born on Monday, 15 September 1687 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Gilles Monin dit Lafleur and Marie Marthe Richaume dit Petrus. She was christened there on 15 September 1687 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Suzanne married Philippe Gingras, son of Charles Gingras and Marie Francoise Amiot dit Villeneuve, circa 1715 in Quebec, Canada. Suzanne's husband, Philippe, died circa 30 November 1749 in St-Augustin de-Desmaures, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Suzanne departed this life in St-Augustin de-Desmaures, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. She was buried there in the cemetery of St-Augustin Church on Wednesday, 22 March 1769.²
