Barbara was born in 1708 in Switzerland. Barbara married Nicholas Bieri I, son of Hans Bieri and Madelena Roht, on 1 December 1728 in York County, Pennsylvania. Barbara's husband, Nicholas, died on 1 October 1762 in Springettsbury Manor, Manchester Township leaving her a widow. Barbara departed this life on Sunday, 27 July 1788 in Springettsbury Manor, Manchester Township at age 80 years.¹
