Nathaniel was born circa 1676 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Nathaniel married Mary Mason on 10 June 1698 in Hartford. Nathaniel and Mary had children: Deborah [bp. 3/26/1699-12/11/1755] [m. 3/24/1738 Joseph Day], Timothy [3/09/1701-10/08/1756], Mary [12/06 1702-1740], Nathaniel [10/08 1704] and William [1706-1778] [m. 9/14/1731 Sarah White]. On 16 December 1714, he married Susannah Ellis in Hartford. Nathaniel's wife, Mary, died before 16 December 1714 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. Nathaniel made his will on 25 November 1742 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.
I Nathaniel Andrews of Hartford, do make this my last will and testament: I give to my wife during her natural life the whole of my estate to improve for herself, and at her decease my will is that my eldest son Timothy shall have the whole of my estate, real and personal, he paying to my son Nathaniel Andrews £5 in money, and also to pay to my daughter Deborah £20 and to Jacob, the son of my daughter, Deborah, £10. And alsoI give to Jacob my gunn. And to my son, William I do give and confirm my fight of land oat New Hartford. And do appoint my beloved wife executrix. Witnesses: Jared Spencer, Thomas Andrews jr, Ithamar Andrews.2
