Samuel Mather

M, b. 13 May 1626, d. 29 October 1671
     Samuel was born on Wednesday, 13 May 1626 in Much-Woolton, Lancastershire, England. He was the son of Reverand Richard Mather and Catherine Holt. He graduated from Harvard College in 1643 and soon after returned to England. Once back in England. he became the chaplin of Magdalen College. Later he became the minister at Dublin, Ireland. In 1656, he married the sister of Sir John Stevens.1 Samuel departed this life on Thursday, 29 October 1671 at age 45 years, 5 months and 16 days.
