Thomas Merritt

     Thomas was born circa 1634.¹ Thomas married Jane Sherwood on 34 December 1656 and had children: John [10/10/1657-4/10/1726], Alice [1/01/1660-6/10/1680], Joseph [6/06/1662-5/12/1754], Ephraim [4/05/664], Jane [11/07/1666], Isaac [5/03/1668], Thomas [1/31/1670-1/30/1719], Samuel [8/21/1672], Rose [4/17/1674], Stephen [2/26/1677], Edward [3/10/1679], Matthew [9/03/1681] & Elizabeth [4/14/1683]. He married second on 13 August 1686, Abigail Francis. Thomas married 3rd Mary Ferris, daughter of Jeffrey Ferris and Mary, on 3 February 1696 in Rye, Westchester County, New York.¹ The family resided in Rye, Westchester County, New York.
