Hanna Leggett

     Hanna was born the 28th day of the 10th month 1763 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. She was the daughter of Thomas Leggett and Mary Embree. Hanna married Isaac Ostrom on 18 July 1788 in New York. Isaac and Hannah had children: Thomas Leggett [3/04/1789-4/13/1863], Mary [11/01/1790], Isaac [9/16/1792-11/04/1870] [m. Dorcas], Esther [9/10/1794] & Rebecca [5/12/1796-1/08/1892], Sarah [7/05/1799], Hannah [9/29/1801] & John Leggett [9/18/1803-2/19/1876]. Hanna departed this life on Monday, 16 June 1834 in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York, at age 70 years, 7 months and 19 days. She was buried there in Oakwood Cemetery.¹
