     Katherine was born circa 1625 in Dorchestershire, England. She was the daughter of William King and Dorothy Hayne. On 20 March 1635/1636, Katherine immigrated to this country. Katherine married John Swazey before 12 March 1650 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. John & Katherine had children: John, Joseph, Samuel, Abigail [m. John Hallock], Mehitable [m. Peter Aldrich], Sarah & Mary.
