[57 New York], grandmotheHor: Catherine Greenleaf [79 New York][retired].3 1 June 1880, the U.S. Federal Census listed Mary living in the home of her son at Iosco Township, Livingston County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Horace Mapes [48 New York], his wife: Mary J. [45 Michigan], his mother, Mary J. Mapes [67 New York], son, William H. [25 Michigan], daughter-in-law, Mary F. [27 Michigan].4 Mary departed this life on Friday, 29 July 1898 in Iosco Township, Livingston County, Michigan. She was buried in Unadilla Township, Livingston County, Michigan, in the Plainfield Village Cemetery.5,6
