Edward "The Black" - House of Plantagenet - Prince of Wales

     Edward "The Black" - was born on Thursday, 15 June 1330 in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. He was born at the Palace. He was the son of Edward III - House of Plantagenet - , King of England and Phillipa - Queen of England. Edward married Joan Countess of Kent on 10 October 1361 in Old Windsor, Berkshire, England. John & the Countess had chilren. Their son Richard, became King of England at the age of 10 years. Edward departed this life on Saturday, 8 June 1376 in Westminister, County Middlesex, England, at the Westminister Palace at age 45 years, 11 months and 24 days. He died at the Palace. He was buried. He was buried in the Canterbury Cathedral.
