Charles Howell

     Charles was born on Thursday, 8 January 1824 in Hainsville, Sandyton Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. He was the son of Parshall Howell II and Elizabeth Horton. Charles married Fanny (?) circa 1850 in Michigan. 3 October 1850, Charles and his wife, Fanny, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Charles Howell [27 New Jersey $2200] & his wife: Fanny M. [25 New York].¹ Charles departed this life before 15 July 1859 in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan. His wife had remarried on this date & Charles was not on the 1860 census.
