Sampson Hawkhurst

     Sampson was born. He was the son of Christopher Hawkhurst. Sampson married Hannah Townsend, daughter of "Mill" John Townsend and Johannah (?), on 18 January 1698 in Queens County, Long Island, New York. Samson and Hannah had children: Joanna [ -4/14/1758], Sarah [3/28/1702-4/11/1728], William [1704-10/26/1790], Samson [ -1790], Joseph [ -1801], Amy, Benjamin [6/31/1720] & Daniel [10/13/1723-3/26/1770].¹
