Job Greene

Job was born on Thursday, 24 August 1656 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of John Greene and Anna Almy. Job married Phebe Sayles on 22 January 1684/85 in Rhode Island.2 Job and Phebe had children: Anne [2/23/1685-8/24/1718] [m. 12/25/1707 Thomas Stafford], Mary [12/03/1687-3/01/1783] [m. 10/25/1719 Captain John Greene], Deborah [2/28/1689/90-12/11/1763] [m. 11/22/1725 Captain Simon Ray], Job [7/05/1692-d.y.], Phebe [10/12/1694] [m. Job's wife, Phebe, died in 1744 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island, leaving him a widower. Job made his will on 6 July 1744 at Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. In his will he left all of his property holding to his children. Job departed this life on Tuesday, 6 July 1745 in Warwick at age 88 years, 10 months and 12 days. He was buried at Warwick in the family burial bround on his estate. His will was probated on 23 September 1745.
