Daniel Frost1

Daniel was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. He was the son of William Frost and Joyce Barker. He was christened there on 17 January 1613 in St. Mary's Church. Daniel married Elizabeth Barlow, daughter of John Barlow I and Ann (?), in 1639.2 Daniel and Elizabeth had children: Sarah [m. 1665 Samuel Smith], Daniel [-1708] [m. before 1691Mary Rowland], Joseph [1644-] [m. Elizabeth Hubbell], Rachel [m. Robert Rumsey], Hannah [m. 1684 John Thorpe], Isaac [-1684] & Ester [m. 1685 Samuel Coley]. Daniel made his will on 23 February 1682 at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Daniel departed this life before 15 December 1684 in Fairfield. The inventory of Daniel's estate was taken on Friday, 15 December 1684.3 On 10 March 1684/85, Robert Rumsey, John Thorp and Samuel Smith, in right of their wives filed a complaint against Daniel Frost jr.
