Elizabeth Ellsworth1

     Elizabeth was born on Saturday, 4 July 1761 in Brooklyn, Kings County, Long Island, New York. She wass the daughter of William Ellsworth & Sarah Brower. Elizabeth married Abijah Whitney, son of Daniel Whitney and Thankful Burt, on 7 August 1777 in Warwick, Orange County, New York. Elizabeth's husband, Abijah, died on 24 May 1802 in Warwick leaving her a widow. Elizabeth departed this life on Friday, 27 February 1829 in New York City, New York County, New York, at age 67 years, 7 months and 23 days.
