Ruth Denton

     Ruth was born on Tuesday, 10 November 1693 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Samuel Denton and Abigail Barlow. Ruth married John Embree II, son of John Embree I and Sarah Parcell, circa 1714 in Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Ruth was not mentioned among her siblings in her father's will. It is assumed she died before 14 February 1717. She quite possibly died of complications of childbirth.
